Principle of Glucose Meter Measurement

The Sindhm Glucose Meter blood glucose monitoring system is designed to provide an easy, accurate method for determining glucose values of venous whole blood and capillary whole blood (fingertip). Glucose in the blood sample mixes with special chemicals in the test strip and a small electric current is produced.

The strength of this current is changes with the amount of glucose in the blood sample. The Sindhm Glucose Meter measures the current, calculates your plasma blood glucose level, displays the result, and stores it in its memory.

Steps to Detect Blood Glucose

1. Take a new test strip out from test strip vial. Be sure to tightly replace vial cap after taking test strip.

2. Compare whether the code on the test strip bottle is the same as the number displayed in the glucose meter. If it is different, please contact your local distributor.

3. Insert this test strip (with the black bars facing up) into the test strip slot of the meter. The meter turns on automatically.

1. Before blood collection, gently massage the blood collection site to congest the fingertip

2. After sterilizing with an alcohol swab, wait for the alcohol to evaporate completely

3. Hold the prepared lancing device firmly against the side of your finger. Press the release button

4. You may gently massage the finger towards the fingertip to obtain the required blood volume

5. To obtain the best accurate result, wipe off the first drop of blood and gently squeeze another drop of blood

1. Apply the blood drop to the opening ofan absorbent channel of the test strip until the confirmation window is fully covered with blood

2. The blood will be drawn into the test strip automatically. You will hear a beep, and then you may move your finger away from the test strip. Then the meter begins to count down

3. If you do not hear a beep, your blood may be on the sides of the test strip instead of in the absorbent channel of the test strip or there may not be enough blood

4. Please do not try to reapply blood to this test strip. Please discard this test strip and use a new test strip to repeat the test procedure

1. The glucose meter will display the result of your blood glucose result after five seconds

1. The glucose meter screen displays blood measurement results including either milligram per deciliter or millimoles per liter and hematocrit value (%)

2. This reading will be automatically stored in the meter memory.

1. After completing the measurement, remove the used test strip and discard it, the glucose meter will automatically turn off.

Notice !!!

1. If it is found that the reaction area is not completely covered by the blood sample, repeated blood replenishment is prohibited, please discard the test strip and use a new test strip to measure again

2. When the countdown of the glucose meter is performed, it means that the blood glucose cannot be operated at will to avoid errors

3. The test strip must be fully inserted into the slot of the blood glucose meter and pay attention to the direction and front or back when Inserting

4. Insert the test strip into the glucose meter and let it still for 3 minutes. If no action is performed, it will automatically turn off.

5. Please do not drip blood directly into the suction port, this action will cause error test results

6. Please do not press your finger on the test strip or use blood samples that is spread out or left too long.

7. Please avoid repeating blood sampling at the same place.

8. The product is only suitable for Sindhm test strips

9. The measurement results provided by this product are the same as the plasma analysis results of the laboratory YSI-2300
